Event Guide

Checking In

All attendees need to check in at the information point when they arrive at DojoCon to collect a DojoCon lanyard and welcome pack. The information point is located in the southeast corner of Bush Court (see map). If you are attending a workshop please bring your eventbrite ticket and present it when you arrive at your chosen workshop.

Food and Drink

Free tea and coffee is available in the Kim Beazley foyer. Attendees can purchase food from the food trucks located beside the Nexus theatre or byo lunch to enjoy on the grass in bush court (if it isn’t raining!). We encourage attendees to byo drink bottle and use the drinking water taps available on campus.

DojoCon Ethos

DojoCon Australia follows the guidelines and ethos set out by the official CoderDojo ECHO, CoderDojo Inclusion Policy and CoderDojo Charter. This includes welcoming and including all to CoderDojo coding clubs and events, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, creed, religion or ability.

University Safety and Access

If any issues relating to safety, security or first aid arise, please contact Murdoch University Campus Security on 9360 7333.

We also recommend that participants download the MurdochSafe app before arriving at DojoCon.

The app has a digital map and lots of other helpful information about the Murdoch campus. It also allows you to contact security if you have an emergency on the day: Download the MurdochSafe app
